Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

A Modern Greek Language School operates in Thessaloniki under the supervision of the Faculty of Philosophy. The courses apply for foreigners and Greeks living abroad under the condition that they have a diploma of Secondary Education. A certificate of attendance and Greek Language competency is awarded. Specifically the following programmes are implemented:

• One-year course: October 1st - May 31st, 10 and 20 hours per week. It addresses to students of all levels of Greek language competency.
• Intensive summer course: August 16th - September 15th, 20 hours per week. It addresses to students of all levels of Greek language competency.
• Intensive one-month autumn course: September 15th - October 14th, 20 hours per week. It addresses to students of all levels of Greek language competency.
• Intensive one-month winter course: February 1st - 28th, 20 hours per week. It addresses to students of all levels of Greek language competency.
• Special courses that address to groups of students, scientists or professionals who wish to attend a course tailored to their needs and particularities.
