EPEAEK

The Operational Programme for Education and Initial Vocational Training (EPEAEK) is coordinated by the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs with the co-financing of the European Community through the 3rd CFS. The policies developed by EPEAEK are related to the national development strategy of education, and specifically to the improvement of Greek educational system and its services; consequently, by opening new communication and link paths with employment market, it will be able to respond more effectively to real social needs. At present, the EPEAEK is in the 2nd implementation stage for the 2000 - 2006 time period.
