On a transnational level

On a transnational level, EKEP, the National Resource Centre for Vocational Guidance (NRCVG-Greece) in the Euroguidance Network , aims to produce information relating to the structures of education and training in Greece, placement opportunities, work experience, as well as disseminate to and exchange such information with all European countries participating in the Network. In addition, in cooperation with other European Centres, EKEP is called to play a decisive role in the collection and compilation of material about Counselling and Vocational Guidance and the exchange of good practices and Guidance Practitioners.
In the context of the declared objective of the Euroguidance Network, the mission of the EKEP is to:

• Strengthen the dissemination of information about Counselling & Vocational Guidance, as well as education, training and employment opportunities in Greece and Europe through the competent information resource entities both for the benefit of experts and professionals in Counselling & Vocational Guidance and the public.
• Promote mobility in Europe and the dissemination of knowledge through Guidance Counsellor exchange programs.
• Establish links and exchange information about education, training, employment and mobility with other European nations.
• Strengthen the exchange of experiences and practices in Counselling & Vocational Guidance and enhance the new trends and prospects opening up in Career Development on an global level with the aim to upgrade Counselling & Vocational Guidance services both in terms of efficiency and quality. This task will endeavor to meet the ever changing needs of the people of Europe.
• Promote the european dimension in Vocational Guidance and strengthen multiculturalism.
• Strengthen exchanges and work visits in support of networking and cooperation among the European Guidance Counsellors.
