European Youth Forum
The European Youth Forum is an international organization, which was established by the national youth councils and international non governmental youth organizations. Being a communication ‘vehicle’ of young people in Europe, it represents youth organizations in international institutions - mainly in the European Union, European Council, and United Nations.
More than 91 members from national youth councils and international non governmental youth organizations, which represent a few million young people of all European countries, participate in the European Youth Forum.
The European Youth Forum works for the reinforcement of young people for their active participation in the configuration of Europe and the society they live in, aiming at:
- Influencing the policy of Europe and international institutions regarding youth affairs
- Increasing the participation of young people and youth organizations in society as well as in the decisions’ taking procedure
- Promoting the exchange of ideas, experiences, equal rights, and opportunities among young people in Europe.
