EURODIME Programme

The Eurodime training programme - the European Dimension in Career Guidance and Counselling for Young Students - is part of the European Socrates initiative and was developed in collaboration between Spain, the United Kingdom and Sweden.

It is a continuing training course lasting for one week which is primarily aimed at experienced professionals of vocational guidance who provide their services to pupils in secondary level (pre-university) education. On the one hand, it seeks to provide counsellors from differing countries in Europe with tools which will help them in their day-to-day work and, on the other hand, to offer them the opportunity to develop a transnational cooperation network thus incorporating a european dimension into their activities.

The course is available in the English language and its content covers issues relating to mobility, nationality, European programmes and initiatives for youth and guidance counsellors, European educational systems and qualification accreditation as well as issues on future cooperation.
